THURSDAY
7pm Rally Kick Off at O'Brien's Bar in Allston featuring live punkrock by Tommy & the Terrors, The Tampoffs, Boston Lowlife, Stress Cracks, The Alrighters, & Heather Hates You, $1.50 PBRs, and FREE barbecue served 8-10pm. See the direction page for a map of the area. 21+ event.
FRIDAY
11am Nikki and Steve will lead everyone to Misty and Woody's for a homecooked breakfast, and then it's a ride through the Blue Hills and out to Hull.
3pm- Check in @ HoJo for a meet and greet
8pm City ride led by Jason through downtown Boston. Whack a tourist, dodge a pothole, avoid the trolly, and have a good time.
10pm Walk across the street to The Baseball Tavern for drinks, while DJ Vinny, Selector Travis, & special guest Andy from Southwest Scooters UK, spin your favorite Soul, Mod, Ska, Rocksteady & Reggae Classics. Once you're registered first drink is on the house, after that, it's up to you. 21+ event
SATURDAY
10:30 Show up at the hotel early for free bagels and OJ, buy cables and oil, or sell/trade/buy at the swap meet. Scooter illustrator Glenn Reid has unfortunately been forced to cancel.
Noon Jon Rhodes leads a group ride tour of the world famous Emerald Necklace, a beautiful park/roadway system designed by the godfather of landscape architecture, Frederick Law Olmstead. The ride starts at the HoJo and will take us around lakes, through parks, and to Larz Anderson Park -- home to the Museum of Transportion, as well a breathtaking view of the Boston skyline. After taking in the vista, taking a few photos, we'll continue on, around Chestnut Hill Reservoir, through Boston College's campus, and to Herb Chamber's Vespa where you can check out the new Vespa GT. From there we'll cruise through Boston University on our way back to the HoJo. Map available here.
4pm Enjoy the hotel pool or go one one of two seperate rides deparing from the HoJo.
Take the BIG BORE TOUR out to Nahant. Big bikes only as there will be some highway driving as we cross the 2.25 mile long Tobin Bridge. The bridge rises 135 feet above the Mystic River on our way to the rocky peninsula of Nahant where you'll be rewarded with a stunning view of the Boston Skyline and cool water to soak your feet. Jason will lead the rowdy over 21 set on an afternoon of boobs and beer. Your ride will take you to the littlest bar in Boston for a pint, and then it's off to Chinatown where you'll visit the all-nude Centerfold's Gentlman's Club. Destination map may be available on the directions page.
Sid will lead the small bikes and beach bunnies down to Castle Island for some fun, sun, and sand. Bring a towel and cash for a corndog and a lemon ice.
8pm We'll take a ride from the HoJo to The Kinvara Irish Pub for a big send off featuring live music, food, drink, raffle and awards for best Vespa, best Lambretta, best custom, furthest ridden and best modern scoot. Your bracelet gets you in free, and secure scooter parking is provided. They'll be live reggae from Riki Rocksteady and the Spit Shine All-Stars, and celtic-infused punk by Big Bad Bollocks. 21+ event.
SUNDAY
11am It's checkout time at the HoJo. Weather permitting, The Stranglers may host a barbecue and gymkana. Details TBA.
