This year's rally will be held at Camp Nihan in Saugus, MA. Camp Nihan is a old Boy Scout camp that is part of the Breakheart Reservation. Click here for a map of both. It is also right off Route 1 in Saugus (just a few miles north of Boston) so it's easy to get to, close to everything, but still surprisingly bucolic.
The campsite is 65 acres including hilly peaks, a natural pond, the Saugus River, a lovely fire pit, four sleeping cabins, and a rec hall. And the best news of all: we will have the entire campground all to ourselves. After passing two private houses on the entry road to the campground, we're nearly a mile back from all houses. A keeper will be on site for the weekend, but he's assured us that he's seen it all before. We'll just follow the rules, keep from pissing him off, and then be invited back again next year.
