Camp Nihan is located in Saugus Mass, on Highway 129, just yards from the intersection of Highway 1. Do-it-yourselfers can see a Google Map of the area.

Those coming by car will want to find their way to Route 1. From the South or West will probably catch Route 1 in downtown Boston (accessible by I-90 or I-93), head over the Tobin Bridge, and cruise up Route 1 past the giant signs for Kowloon and The Hilltop Steakhouse, and up to Route 129 West.

If you're coming from the North, or even some parts West, you will want to take I-95 or Highway 128 south to Highway 1 going south. About 2 miles down, Route 129 West will split off.

After hopping on Route 129 West you'll go about a quarter of a mile down the two-lane road until you come to the small green sign for Camp Nihan on your left. (See photo -- it's kinda tricky.)

Turn in to the campground, between the two residential houses, and continue the dirt road back a quarter mile or so to the campground. Cars, RVs can park in the first (and only) parking lot once you reach the site, others will want to take the first right, head up the hill, to the rec hall, fire pit, cabins, & campsites.

While Highway 1 has a slow speed limit (generally 45mph) traffic flows quickly, and 50cc bikes shouldn't attempt route 1. Bigger bikes should have no trouble. A route for slower bikes is currently being investigated (Main St. in Everett all the way up to 129 and then 129 East into the campground maybe?). At least one group ride will leave Boston on Friday afternoon headed for the site. Details will be posted when we have them.
